Influence of Callahan's Vulnerability Thesis on Thought and Practice in Educational Administration, 1962-1992.
Wisener, Barbara F.
Peabody Journal of Education, v71 n2 p41-63 1996
Based on extensive historical research spanning three decades, this paper discusses the influence of Callahan's vulnerability thesis on thought and practice in shaping school administration, and the resulting influence in other disciplines. Though the relevance of the vulnerability thesis and reactions to it will continue to evolve, Callahan has not modified it, and it will endure into the 21st century. (SM)
