The objective of the Post-Secondary Child Care Grant Program is to provide financial assistance to post-secondary students with financial need who require child care assistance for their dependent children and do not receive funds from the Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP). This document contains provides information on: (1) eligibility to participate in the program; (2) the application process; (3) award process and calculation; (4) disbursement process; (5) refund process; (6) procedures for denial, termination or appeal; (7) allocation of Post-Secondary Child Care Grant Funds; (8) management of funds; (9) Minnesota Higher Education Services Office (MHESO) audit requirements; (10) Minnesota statutes governing Post-Secondary Child Care Grants; and (11) Minnesota agency rules governing Post-Secondary Child Care Grants.
