Nationwide, students enrolled in community colleges respond to national surveys indicating that academic resources are very important, while at the same time failing to utilize those same resources. This study focused on identifying the reasons for this incongruity on the Terry Campus of Delaware Technical Community College. Using a sequential explanatory design, data were gathered using both surveys and focus group collection methods. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the results were focused in two primary areas: perceived lack of need for services and lack of awareness of their availability.
