The manual is designed to serve as a guideline for teachers and child study teams who have the primary responsibility for the education of handicapped children in four areas--learning skills, oral language, reading, and mathematics. Sections for each of the above areas are subdivided into the following objectives and activities: gross motor skills, eye-foot coordination, fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination graphomotor skills, visual discrimination, auditory discrimination, tactile kinesthetic skills, attending behavior, articulation, syntax, expression, visual discrimination and visual memory in reading, auditory discrimination and auditory memory, blending, sight vocabulary, evaluation and program selection, developmental reading skills, mathematics readiness skills, computation, fractions, money, linear measurement, temperature, calendary, and telling time. The appendix contains the Continuous Progress Report Form for charting the educational growth of students in special education classes. (SBH)
