Although University of Washington serves as vanguard for interprofessional collaboration, there are two features of professional practice not addressed in the program. Implementation may be problem, since teacher training is limited by state and occurs in contexts distant from urban areas needing interprofessional collaboration. Multicultural considerations figure highly; few calls for integrated social services come from upperclass white neighborhoods. (MLH)
