This document contains issues 83-93 of the curriculum newsletter of Lehigh University's Science, Technology, and Society (STS) program. Each issue contains articles addressing issues relative to STS, course syllabi, reader responses, and announcements. Issue No. 83 discusses establishing an interdisciplinary minor in technology studies at Lafayette College (Pennsylvania) and includes syllabi for courses entitled: Senior Colloquia; Technological Catastrophies; History of Technology; Computers and Society; and The Engineering Method. Issue No. 84 concerns canon in the age of a new technology, the progress of STS in school science, and a syllabus for a course entitled: Philosophy, Technology, and the Future. Issue No. 85 considers the sociology of technology, a conference on the influence of Japanese/American culture on technological innovation in advanced materials, STS related education in China, and STS activities in Japan. Issue No. 86/87 addresses women's studies, with relation to the transformation of the undergraduate curriculum; and a syllabus for a course entitled: Science in Society. Issue No. 88/89 describe an undergraduate program profile for STS studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and syllabi for courses entitled: Introduction to Science and Technology Studies; Cross-Cultural Perspectives on Science and Technology; History of Science and Technology; Decision Making; The Social Relations of Science; and Risky Technologies. Issue No. 90 identifies two factions within the STS movement and the sociological revolution, and presents syllabi for courses entitled: History of American Technology; and Culture and Technology: A Historical Perspective. Issue No. 91 concerns STS as a social movement; the development of STS at Tshinghua University, Beijing, China; garbage dumps and the chemistry and politics of hazardous waste; and a syllabus for a course entitled: Hazardous Waste and Public Policy Making. Issue No. 92/93 contains articles by Steve Fuller on the sociological revolution in STS and the status of STS as an interdisciplinary field, and syllabi for courses entitled: (1) Technology and Human Values; and (2) The American Dream of a Perfect World.
