Major factors associated with effective teaching are identified and communication concepts that are used are shown. An attempt is made to relate each of these to a communication ability. Components include the analytic/synthetic approach, organization/clarity, instructor group interaction, instructor individual student interaction, and enthusiasm. (CT)
