This workbook helps students identify those study practices that are ineffective and suggests ways in which existing study habits may be modified and improved. At the beginning of each of the workbook's seven sections is a set of questions concerning the reader's usual study practices. The second part of each section contains advice about the particular study practice of concern. The third part consists of two short exercises designed for practice and to consolidate the learning of the material for the second part. Sections include: (1) The Place of Study; (2) Study Times; (3) Organization for Study; (4) Reading Textbooks; (5) Note-Taking; (6) Studying for Examinations; and (7) Examination Technique. (RS)
