Nursing II. A Course of Study.
Rogers, Helen V.
Developed primarily to provide a course of study requisite for the second area of a two-part practical nursing program, this curriculum guide can also be used to instruct nursing students in other programs. The content is divided into five major areas of study which include medications, nursing principles and skills (part two), maternal and infant care, nursing of children, and medical surgical nursing (part one). Each major area consists of three or more units of instruction. Each of the forty-three instructional units contains both terminal and specific behavioral objectives, suggested activities for teacher and students, information sheets, assignment sheets and/or job sheets, visual aids, tests, and answers to the tests. Units are planned for more than one lesson or class period of instruction. A reference list is also included in each unit. (BM)
