Forty elementary level remedial reading students were instucted through a methodology employing two basic elements of the G. Lozanov "Suggestopedia" system: presenting lesson material in both attentive and nonattentive states and attempting to create a relaxed, nondefensive atmosphere in which both external and internal distractions to learning are minimized.
