This article investigates the impact of supervisors' racial and ethnic origins on the exploration of multicultural competencies in clinical supervision. Data were collected from 102 practicum and internship students in three different counsellor education programs. Supervision conversations centring on multicultural awareness, skills, and understanding the client's worldview were assessed using the Supervision Sensitivity Survey (SSS). The study found a significant difference between supervisors' ethnic origins and two multicultural competencies: (1) counsellors' understanding of the worldview of culturally diverse clients, and (2) the development of appropriate intervention strategies and techniques.
