Brain/Behavior Relationships, Gender Differences, and the Learning Disabled.
Naour, Paul
Theory into Practice, v24 n2 p100-05 Spr 1985
Behavioral approaches have never provided insight into the underlying cognitive processing differences which might help educators understand problem learners. Individuals do not receive information from the environment in the same fashion. There are significant processing and organizational differences between females and males, with learning disabled individuals generally being on the extreme male end of the continuum. (MT)
