Misconceptions about Psychology among College Students.

Reports how 531 undergraduates in two universities responded to 60 false questionnaire statements concerning psychology. Students marked each statement as true, false, or don't know/no opinion. Analysis of true responses indicated a decreasing level of misconceptions as students accumulated psychology credits specifically, and college credits in general. Implications for psychology teachers are discussed. (Author/JDH)
