An elementary science teacher enthusiast participated in a case study to help provide insights on how student teachers cope with constraints to their science teaching that they perceived within the school culture. Results include some of the strategies used by this enthusiast to address problems such as supervisor expectations and inadequacy of equipment and curriculum. (ZWH)
