Using Videodisk Instruction in an Elementary Science Methods Course: Remediating Science Knowledge Deficiencies and Facilitating Science Teaching Attitudes.
Vitale, Michael R.; Romance, Nancy R.
Journal of Research in Science Teaching, v29 n9 p915-28 Nov 1992
Reports a study of the relationship between learning science content in an elementary science methods course with videodisk-based instruction and attitudes toward science teaching. The experimental group (n=42) learned science concepts through interactive videodisk lessons. Results showed the experimental group had greater gains in science knowledge and a more positive attitude toward science teaching than the control group. (Author/PR)
