This position paper supports the exclusion of the special creation doctrine in science classrooms. Reviews the current controversy concerning legislative actions mandating the teaching of scientific creation in classrooms, presents creationists' and evolutionists' viewpoints, and discusses the philosophical disparity between creation and evolution.
