Attitude and Attitude Change: Its Influence upon Teaching Behavior
James, Helen H.
Journal of Research in Science Teaching, 8, 4, 351-355, 71
There were no significant differences between groups of teachers receiving three different styles of supervision during teaching practicum with respect to the influence of the cooperating teacher upon the attitudes of the preservice teachers toward science teaching. There was no systematic trend toward or away from the teacher in any group. The group that changed most in attitudes also showed the greatest amount of indirect teaching in an interaction analysis observation system. (AL)
