The Influence of Hands-On Science Process Training on Preservice Teachers' Acquisition of Process Skills and Attitude toward Science and Science Teaching.
Riley, Joseph P., II
Journal of Research in Science Teaching, v16 n5 p373-84 Sep 1979
The use of hands-on and of nonmanipulative training in process skills are compared to determine the effects on preservice teachers' knowledge of process skills, understanding of science, and attitudes toward science, science teaching and method of instruction. The results show a need for training teachers in process skills using an individualized approach. (SA)
