The Use of Paramecium to Observe the Toxic Effect of Cigarette Smoke.

Describes a laboratory experiment in which Paramecium caudatum was used to demonstrate the toxic effect of cigarette smoke on the cilia of epithelium cells lining the trachea and bronchi of smokers.
