Measures differences in importance of teaching in community colleges and universities by analyzing demographic data, current teaching methods, interest in new methods, and perceived administrator attitudes toward teaching. Findings show that, although teaching is more highly valued in community colleges, the level of interest in teaching and need for training are the same for both types of institutions. (CK)
