Approximately 200 trade books, and reference works in the pure and applied sciences for students in the elementary school, in secondary school and in the first two years of college, including selected advanced and professional books useful for reference by students and faculty members, are reviewed in this issue of the quarterly publication. The entries are listed in order of the Dewey Decimal Classification, and are coded to indicate the educational level(s) for which they are suitable, as well as the reviewer's recommendation (highly recommended, recommended, acceptable, or not recommended).
