An Analysis of Selected Attitudes and Opinions as Expressed by Graduates of Bethel College and their Parents Concerning this Institution.

Five graduate students of Indiana University undertook an attitude study of Bethel College alumni and their parents in early 1977. Two questionnaires were developed by an independent consulting firm for use in the study. Data were analyzed by computer. The questions concerned: alumni giving; financial support of the student; housing; student development; academic preparation; preparation for future life roles; physical development and education; two-year vocational programs; new facilities; rules of conduct and their enforcement; college choice; and religious background. A bibliography and the two survey instruments are included. (MSE)
