Holistic Scoring as a Teaching Device.
Westcott, Warren; Gardner, Phillip
Teaching English in the Two-Year College, v11 n2 p35-39 Dec 1984
Argues that holistic scoring, widely used as a reliable method of rating student writing, can be used effectively as a teaching device.
