Reports a longitudinal study to investigate sex and departmental differences in the changes in attitudes toward mathematics of prospective mathematicians and secondary school mathematics teachers among university students in Turkey (n=82). Results indicated that female students' attitudes toward mathematics generally decreased to reach the level of male students' attitudes during the two-year duration of the study. (MDH)
