The number of associate and baccalaureate degrees in engineering and industrial technology awarded by 415 institutions is reported by institution and curriculum. In the academic year 1967-68, 16,920 2-year degrees in engineering technology and 1,560 in industrial technology were awarded. Also 842 bachelor's degrees in engineering technology, and 943 in industrial technology were awarded. The most popular curricula are electrical/mechanical, and civil engineering technology. All fields of engineering are represented, with noticeable patterns in the states reflecting different local industrial needs and different educational philosophies. (MC)
