The effectiveness of a slide/tape set on pesticide use was rated in this study which included pretesting-posttesting and instructor rating of students' cognitive achievement. Achievement level did not differ significantly using printed material/lectures versus slide/tapes. Recommendations centered on the importance of evaluation of new curriculum materials. (SK)
