Trends in the Scottish Curriculum Framework for the S3-S4 Stages, 1983-1990.
Croxford, Linda
Scottish Educational Review, v26 n2 p97-109 Nov 1994
Data from the Scottish Young People's Survey were used to evaluate a broad-based curriculum introduced in Scottish secondary schools in 1983. Results indicated that most students studied the curriculum during their last two years of compulsory schooling and that differences in participation relative to student achievement and gender have been reduced in English, mathematics, and science.
