Programed Instruction in Elementary Algebra: An Experiment
Lial, Margaret L.
Two-Year College Mathematics Journal, 1, 2, 17-21, Fall '70
Report of an experiment which investigated the use of a programed elementary algebra text as a teaching method. The method was evaluated on the basis of student evaluation of the course and the percentage of students achieving a grade of C or better. Results indicated that the use of programed texts was superior to the traditional approach using traditional texts. (FL)
