This conference resulted in a proposal for a consortium of two-year colleges to perform the following functions: (1) disseminating information about continuing education activities, (2) tapping regional resources that inform on continuing education problems, (3) providing technical assistance in the field, (4) organizing short-term training programs for staff, and (5) researching, developing, and evaluating new systems.
