The Status of Female Coaches in Two-Year Colleges.

National study examined gender trends for two-year college coaches of men's and women's athletics. Questionnaires from 136 athletic administrators indicated declines in the number of female coaches from 1983-90. The small number of female respondents made it difficult to determine relationships between the gender of athletic administrators and coaching staffs. (SM)
