This report provides statistical and financial data about the 19 community colleges in Kansas, based on information submitted to the State Department of Education by the community colleges. The nine sections of the report present: (1) actual revenues and expenditures by institution with state totals for 1985-86; (2) 1986-87 adopted general, employee benefit, vocational education, adult education, and adult supplementary education fund budgets by institution; (3) 1985-86 actual expenditures in the same categories; (4) sources of revenue by institution; (5) full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment for September 1985 and September 1986, 1985-86 general fund budget per pupil, 1986-87 legal maximum general fund, and 1986-87 general fund budget per pupil by institution; (6) 1986-87 mill levies and a 5-year history of total mill levies by institution; (7) assessed values for 1982 through 1986; (8) the number of FTE classroom teachers and their average salaries by institution for 1985-86 and 1986-87; and (9) the number of FTE deans and their average salaries by institution for 1985-86 and 1986-87.
