Data on enrollments and degrees granted during the years 1948 through 1989 are provided for the community colleges under the program of the State University of New York. Data are presented for the system as a whole as well as for each campus. Fall term enrollments in credit courses are broken down by full-/part-time status and by student level (i.e., undergraduate or graduate). Unlike the enrollment data, which is point-in-time data, the degrees-granted data cover all degrees awarded over each 12-month period, beginning July 1st and ending June 30th of the following year. Numbers of degrees awarded are provided by degree type. The count of degrees conferred does not include other formal awards, such as undergraduate certificates. (JMC)
