This report focuses on the professional status of the community college faculty as a collective whole by examining the factors which enhance or retard their professionalization. Topics include administrator-faculty relationships, faculty organizations, collective bargaining, patterns of preparation and inservice training, methods of selecting deans and presidents, and faculty participation in decision-making.
