This collective bargaining agreement between the Board of Trustees of Henry Ford Community College and the Henry Ford Community College Federation of Teachers establishes conditions of employment for all full-time teachers, counselors, librarians, placement officers, and selected other professional personnel. The articles in the agreement set forth provisions related to: (1) union recognition; (2) board rights; (3) union-board relations; (4) conditions of employment; (5) tenure and probation; (6) seniority; (7) the college year, week, and day; (8) work and class load; (9) teaching facilities and professional improvement; (10) grievance procedures; (11) extended leaves of absence; (12) personal business leaves; (13) jury duty; (14) sick leave; (15) severance pay; (16) teacher's insurance; (17) compensation principles; (18) extra-contractual teaching; (19) experience credit for salary schedule placement; (20) teacher salary schedule; (21) longevity compensation; (22) extra-compensation for coaching and other non-teaching assignments; (23) waiver of bargaining; (24) a conformity to law clause; (25) matters contrary to the agreement; and (26) duration of the agreement.
