The relationship between life-skills development and post-high school career plans was examined. Adolescents selecting to go to four-year colleges/universities, two-year colleges, and technical/trade schools differed in terms of life-skills dimensions. Implications for mental-health counselors working with clients in the area of career choice are discussed. Specific suggestions are made in relation to group counseling. (Author/MKA)
