Increasingly, colleges and universities are becoming aware that substantial proportions of their student bodies have transferred from two-year colleges, although data are limited. States are crafting articulation agreements that ensure transfer of core credits from community colleges to four-year institutions, and some colleges are adjusting schedules to support articulation efforts.
