Primary School Student Teachers' Physical Self-Perceptions and Attitudes toward Teaching Physical Education.
Faulkner, Guy; Reeves, Colin
Journal of Teaching in Physical Education, v19 n3 p311-24 Apr 2000
Used a self-report questionnaire to assess physical self- perceptions and attitudes toward teaching physical education (PE) of final-year, female, primary school student teachers. Results indicated that students with the most positive attitudes toward teaching PE reported stronger self-perceptions of sports competence, and perceived competence in the sport subdomain was deemed more important than any other subdomain.
