Whole Course Work in Higher Education Teaching.
Phillips, Tom
Teaching in Higher Education, v4 n2 p179-92 Apr 1999
Uses five first-hand accounts of higher education teaching to introduce five reflections on teaching as whole course work rather than performance by individual sessions. Each reflection considers an aspect of the whole course experience shared by student and teacher. Attempts to unify these reflections in a broad tradition of cultural transmission, and suggests some avenues for the study of whole course work. (SLD)
