Student Perceptions of What Helps Them Learn and Develop in Higher Education.
Drew, Sue
Teaching in Higher Education, v6 n3 p309-31 Jul 2001
Conducted small group discussions with college students to identify what helped or hindered achievement of learning outcomes. Identified four student factors (self management, motivation and needs, understanding, and support), which operate within a context (course organization, resources, and facilities; assessment; and learning activities and teaching). The factors could be used to enhance review criteria of Britain's Quality Assurance Agency. (EV)
