Staff Development in Early Reading Intervention Programs: The Facilitator.
Le Fevre, Diedre; Richardson, Virginia
Teaching and Teacher Education, v18 n4 p483-500 May 2002
Examined the work of four facilitators involved in five different approaches to literacy reform ranging from externally adopted to internally developed interventions. Findings highlight the different roles of facilitation as viewed by the facilitators themselves in relation to these varied approaches to reform. Facilitators gave very different descriptions of their roles, suggesting different stances on change and program adoption. (SM)
