Theorizing Feminist Transformation in Higher Education.
Safarik, Lynn
Teachers College Record, v104 n8 p1718-59 Dec 2002
Investigated the individual and collective processes through which the feminist transformation in higher education has occurred, using data from interviews that examined respondents' academic career development as feminist scholars and experiences within their academic departments and university feminist communities. The three types of feminism that were identified (liberal, critical, and dialogic) provided insight about the process of institutional transformation. (SM)
