Using Philadelphia's Resource while Teaching Genealogy.
Horn, Kathy
Social Studies Journal, v13 p13-17 Spr 1984
In researching her family history, a secondary teacher became aware of the many resources available in Philadelphia, e.g., the Philadelphia Free Library houses all censuses recorded, the Philadelphia Historical Society archives old maps. She later had students in her American minority groups course use these resources to trace their family roots. (RM)
