Creating Collaborative Partnerships: Clinical Intervention Research in an Inner-City Middle School.
Stevens, Joyce West
Social Work in Education, v21 n3 p151-62 Jul 1999
Describes the experience of establishing collaborative school-based research with a school of social work, a school of education, and an inner-city middle school. A clinical intervention curriculum protocol to address specific adolescent developmental issues and problem behaviors was tested among a group of adolescent girls. Findings suggest that conducting research in a single school site made collaboration less complicated. (Author/JDM)
