Analysis of data from a survey of 105 social work students found significant relationships among hardiness (the ability to manage difficulties), spiritual well-being, and self-esteem. Spiritual well-being and hardiness were found to be strong predictors of self-esteem. Discusses the need to explore the role of spiritual well-being and implications for research, practice, and education. (Author/DB)
