Examined the experiences of 22 tenure-track mothers in university social work programs who responded to a mail survey. Used qualitative analysis to explore the mothers' experiences combining the roles of academic and mother; uncovered the struggles they encounter, personal strategies they use, and helpful and hindering university policies.
