Suggests that developed science materials need not limit teachers from making change or introducing innovation because they have six broad areas of choice: organization, objectives, content, methods, evaluation and relationships with others. Also discusses rejection responses offered by teachers as they resist opportunities to take up the challenge of choices which may be available to them. (BR)
