Described are the results of a study conducted to evaluate student attentiveness to science and technology. Attentiveness is defined as having three dimensions: interest, knowledge, and acquisition. The attentiveness of college-bound, high school students, noncollege-bound high school students, and college students was compared. College-bound high school students and college students were found most attentive. (DS)
