Public Understanding of Science: From Contents to Processes.
Millar, Robin; Wynne, Brian
International Journal of Science Education, v10 n4 p388-98 1988

Suggests that the public understanding of the "processes," instead of "contents," of science may be more useful to interpret and cope with science, technology, and society issues. (Author/YP)
