Time-Based Behaviors at an Interactive Science Museum: Exploring the Differences between Weekday/Weekend and Family/Nonfamily Visitors.
Sandifer, Cody
Science Education, v81 n6 p689-701 Nov 1997
This study proposed to determine if time-based learning-associated visitor behaviors at interactive science museums differ across weekend/weekday groups and family/nonfamily groups. Results separate weekday visitors into two distinct groups: family visitors spent more time per exhibit than did nonfamily visitors. Conversely, weekend family and nonfamily visitors did not differ in their average time spent per exhibit. (Author/DKM)
