Eshach, Haim
Journal of Science Education and Technology, v12 n3 p261-75 Sep 2003

Reports that (a) students'"entering" ideas were unstable, (b) language and materialistic views of light influenced students' ideas, (c) students' ideas were influenced by group concepts of the nature of light, (d) students' interpretation of demonstrations and experiments and diagrams of light rays were problematic.
